The SEVA food truck will be back at Lake Anne on Monday, November 25. All students and any family members that are present will be able to get one meal for FREE. Walkers and Kiss Ride students can pick-up meals on the blacktop. Please park your car and walk to the blacktop. Bus riders will receive their meals as they board. |

Picture retake day (and pictures of new students) will be Tuesday, December 3. If you would like to have a retake done, please return the booklet to the classroom teacher by Monday, December 2. Order forms were sent home this week for new students. If you have any questions, feel free to call Sue Garrison in the front office, 703 326-3500. |
This is the final notice to please check Lost and Found on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Anything left after Tuesday afternoon, November 26, will be donated to a local charity.
Our November artist for Dolphin Art is Tarsila do Amaral. Led by LAES parent volunteers, students will explore three big ideas about Ms. Amaral.
- Amaral was a Brazilian painter who helped launch the modern art movement in Brazil.
- In Paris, Tarsila became friends with and learned from other artists who were thinking about art in new ways.
- Tarsila used the modern art of Europe as inspiration to create her own version of modern Brazilian art.
