Recess Fun

Recess Fun in 4th grade…Brrrrr!

The weather is changing rapidly! Sometimes within the same day. Students go out for recess every single day except in cases of extreme heat or cold.  Please monitor the news or a weather app to determine what the weather will be for the day and dress your child accordingly😊.

Hello Halley Families!

The nights are getting cooler and the sun is setting earlier.  Great times for snuggling up with your child(ren) and a good book!  Have your children read to you, you can read to them, or you can take turns!  Not only is it good for your child's academic development, but it makes for meaningful quality time, too! 20-30 minutes depending on age is all you need to start. The more your child reads, the better reader he or she will be.  Additionally, the gains are further reaching than just reading, but also extend in to better performance in other areas as well. This is another reason to support the upcoming Halley Book Fair…Keep Reading!
