Veterans Day

We want to thank and honor all of our veterans for your sacrifice and dedication to our country!  We also want to thank and recognize those who are currently serving in our military.  Thank you for all you do!

PTSA News

We currently have a vacancy on the PTSA board for the vice president position.  This is a great opportunity for parent leadership to help support our students, staff, and the community.  The responsibilities are very manageable, and the current board members are in place to assist.  Please email PTSA president Jennifer Jain at cvhsptsapresident@yahoo.com with your interest and any questions.  We need parent volunteers like you to make the PTSA great!  https://cvhsptsa.webs.com/

All Night Grad Party (ANGP)

We need your help to make sure the seniors have an amazing ANGP experience.  Join us at the All Night Grad Party Meeting Tuesday, November 19 at 6 pm in Mod 2.

We are looking for parents to join the planning committee!  Parents of all grade levels are welcome, you don’t have to have a senior to help out!  We need many committee chairs-everything from food, activities, volunteers, set-up, tickets and more.

If you cannot make the meeting but would like to help out, please email Sharon Stemme at sharonstemme@yahoo.com.

Technology Support Fee

As part of FCPSOn, an annual technology support fee of $50 will be charged to all high school students. This fee will help ensure students have access to the technology they need by defraying the cost to repair and replace equipment, ensuring all students have the necessary laptops for testing, and providing back-up laptops as a substitute as needed. All students will need access to the same software, which might not be compatible with self-provided laptops. The technology support fee is included in the FY 2020 Approved Budget.

The technology support fee will be billed centrally using FCPS’ e-commerce platform, My School Bucks (MSB), which retrieves information from the Student Information System (SIS). Students who have Free and Reduced meal status and have given consent to share their FRM status for a waiver or reduction of the technology support fee will be charged $25 for Reduced status; the fee will be waived for Free status.

The technology support fee will be billed on Monday after the end of first quarter of each school year for all eligible students who are enrolled at that time.

Parents/guardians and students who do not have an MSB account will receive a bill from MSB to the primary email address recorded in SIS. They are also encouraged to enroll in My School Bucks.
