Bravery Breakfast

On November 11th from 8:00am to 8:30am, Ravensworth Elementary will be having a Bravery Breakfast to honor our veterans, active duty military, and reservists. We would love to proudly display the student-colored flags we sent home in the Wednesday folders that showcase our many connections to military families. When you sign up, please indicate how many children and adults are coming, including: students, siblings that may not attend Ravensworth, parents, and the service member. We will be serving a light breakfast.

Please RSVP here by November 4th! You can RSVP using this link https://qrgo.page.link/GsRZc

Positivity Project

This week our students are learning about Creativity.  The Positivity Project defines creativity as – you come up with new and original ways to think about and do things.  Our daily news show has featured videos and quotes to reflect on this trait.  During the week of November 4th our students will focus on Bravery.  You can extend your child’s learning by going to the Ravensworth website at https://ravensworthes.fcps.edu/about/positivity-project

Cafeteria Reminder

We would like to remind you to not bring in outside food in outside food wrappings, including drink cups. We also request no carbonated drinks or drinks in glass bottles.

Square 1 Art

November 8th is the last day to order Square 1 Art.  Send in your orders to Mrs. Fortenberry as soon as possible.

Winter Food Drive

The SCA is looking to teach compassion to others by donating canned food or dry food to those in need throughout the month of November.  Please consider having your child bring canned food or dry food to school and placing those donations in our SCA box located in the front lobby (under the art display).
