Veterans Day Ceremony
Please join us as we celebrate our Veterans in a Flag Raising Ceremony on Friday, November 8th at 7:30am. All Veterans both Active Duty and Retired are welcome and encouraged to attend. Uniform of the day is appropriate if heading into work. Light refreshments will be served and entertainment provided by the South County Band and Chorus. Flag Detail provided by South County JROTC Cadets from the Edison Unit. The Ceremony will take place outside Door #1 by the flag pole.
Pictures of our Veterans
SCHS would like to invite you to be a part of an activity we have planned to salute our Veterans. We will be compiling pictures of our South County Family Veterans in uniform and these photos will be shared outside at our Flag Raising Ceremony for Veterans on Friday, November 8th at 7:30 a.m.
The pictures may be of immediate family members, grandparents or any other relatives or family friends that have served. The picture of the Veteran can be a group, family, action or portrait shot. Please scan the picture or send via email to DBoullianne@fcps.edu. If you are unable to scan it, please drop it off at the main office at South County HS and we will scan it and get it right back to you.
It is our goal to honor our Veterans and their families each and every day and especially on Veterans Day!
Deadline for submission is Wednesday, November 6th, 3pm.
