Dear Parent/Guardian:
A team of researchers from four universities has contracted with FCPS to examine the district’s services for advanced academic students. The research team is seeking input from many different groups, including parents, in order to provide input on FCPS AAP identification and programming.
You are invited to participate in a focus group of middle school parents to be held at Longfellow Middle School on November 19, 2019 from 6-7 p.m. Please know that researchers do need to end the session promptly at 6 p.m. in order to travel to another location to meet with other focus groups.
In order to ensure we have the correct number of parents requested by the researchers for the focus group, we are asking that your RSVP via this form no later than November 7th. After November 7th, if you have not RSVP’ed that you are able to participate, different parents from the random sampling will be invited. Thank you for letting us know and for considering offering your insight to the study.
