School Closings

This is a reminder that Monday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 5th are student holidays and teacher workdays.

Time to Change Your Clocks

Don't forget--Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 a.m. and you will have to set your clocks back one hour (“fall back”).

Lost and Found

The next time you are in our building, please stop by the lost and found table in the lobby. We already have a large collection of items. Anything not claimed by Friday, November 8th will be donated to a charity.

Veterans Day

If you have family members who are active duty military or veterans, we invite you to send in pictures of them. Pictures will be used to create a display in our lobby to honor those who have served our country in the military. If you have any questions, please email 3rd grade teacher Amelie Krikorian at alkrikorian@fcps.edu

Veterans Day Celebration

On November 12, 2019, all FCPS schools in the Chantilly High School pyramid will host a special event to honor local veterans and active-duty military personnel. Organized by the Chantilly pyramid and the non-profit group iWitnessed-> iRemember, the evening celebration will feature a series of special musical performances from Chantilly ensembles, a dessert reception supported by Mission B-B-Q, Wegmans, and other local businesses, and a special focus on the service of World War II veterans as we prepare for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The evening celebration will begin at 6 p.m. in the Chantilly High School auditorium. All veterans and active-duty service personnel who live or work in western Fairfax County are invited to attend and may sign up here: chantilly-thanks-our-veterans.eventbrite.com

Thank you so much for your generous October donations! Now, for the month of November I will be accepting only cardboard tubes. (paper towel and toilet tissue roll tubes)
