Outstanding Hayfield Awards
Is there a staff member at Hayfield whom you would like to recognize as an outstanding employee? Please, nominate him or her for an outstanding employee award.
Below, you will find a brief description of each award category.
- Outstanding Teacher: Nominees must have completed at least three years of teaching experience. This experience may come from districts outside of FCPS. An outstanding teacher nominee is an employee who works mainly with students.
- Outstanding New Teacher: Nominees have less than three years of teaching experience. This experience may come from districts outside of FCPS. An outstanding new teacher nominee is an employee who works mainly with students.
- Outstanding Principal: Nominee has at least three years of experience as building principal.
- Outstanding Leader: Nominees need to have completed a full year in his or her current position. These members may include assistant principals, school-based technology specialists, technology support specialists, psychologists, counselors, social workers as well as resource teachers who work mainly with teachers.
- Outstanding Operational Employee: Nominees need to have completed a full year in his or her current position. These members may include administrative assistants, office assistants, custodial staff, food services staff, instructional assistants, public health assistants and parent liaisons.
