Parent Survey

One of our school priorities this school year is to further our community engagement in student learning.  To help us with this work, we ask that you please complete this survey to share information with our staff on how we can best partner with you to support your student.

We value your input!  Thank you for taking a few moments to complete the survey.

Halloween Costumes

Students are permitted to wear costumes on Thursday, October 31.  As we specify with other spirit/dress-up days, costumes must comply with the FCPS dress code.  No hats, masks, props, or excessive make-up will be permitted.

Leftover Halloween Candy?

The SCA is partnering with Treats for Troops, an organization that gives our country’s service members and veterans excess Halloween candy. If your family has any leftover Halloween candy please consider bringing the candy into Carson on November 1-8. Other FCPS Schools are Sharing....

Tune in here to find out what other schools are sharing about activities and events that may be of interest to you.

From South Lakes HS: South Lakes High School will hold an IB Information Night on November 7 at 6:30PMn the South Lakes lecture hall for parents of middle school students considering the International Baccalaureate Program.

From Westfield HS: Westfield High School will host a community showing of the movie Angst, a documentary featuring interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they've learned about it. We invite all families in the Westfield Pyramid to attend on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 6:30PM in the Westfield Auditorium.

From Chantilly HS: The CHS girls’ soccer and field hockey players are haunting the high school cafeteria once again. So, enter if you dare. They have conjured up ghoulish spirits to create an evening of spine tingling fright at their eighth annual haunted house.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door and can be purchased at www.CHSHauntedHouse.com. There will also be a small games/craft area for those with low scare tolerances. As a special treat, we also have Hypnotist Russell Hausman working his spells on the audience. There will also be refreshments for sale.
