MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL: Halloween/The Watchdog Online

Dear Parent/Guardian:

The SGA Leadership classes will be judging Halloween costumes on Thursday, October 31st during all lunches.  While we support our SGA’s initiative and efforts to build school spirit, all students must follow the SR&R guidelines for dress code.  This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • The costume cannot completely cover the student’s face
  • Accessories such as plastic swords or weapons of any kind are not permitted on school grounds.
  • Costumes containing language or images that are vulgar, revealing, discriminatory or obscene that promote illegal or violent conduct are prohibited.
  • Students whose costume or appearance is not in compliance with dress code guidelines will be asked to cover the noncomplying clothing or change clothes.  In some instances, the student’s parent or guardian may be notified, and the student may be sent home to get other clothes or remove make-up.

Thank you for your continued support.
