Today, we had all staff review expected procedures should we have an earthquake. Students did a nice job of learning how “drop, cover, hold on” could help keep them safe.
We also kicked off Digital Citizenship Week. Students had lessons during Teacher Advisory time to discuss the importance of being safe on line and their digital footprint. We look forward to seeing you this Thursday night at our own Digital Citizenship Night where you can learn about a variety of topics to keep you and your household safe.
Finally, the administrative team met with all of our young men at the beginning of each period in the locker room. We discussed the importance of keeping their hands to themselves, keeping their bathrooms clean, and treating each other with respect. We thanked the majority of our Eagles who follow the SOAR traits each and every day.
Thank you for encouraging all of our students to be great citizens in our halls and on the web!
FCPS Families are invited to Lanier’s Digital Citizenship Night – Thursday, October 24th from 6:30-7:50pm.
