FCPS is Celebrating Digital Citizenship this Week

This year’s theme is Media Balance and Well-Being: Developing a Healthy Relationship with Your Technology. Our school is celebrating Digital Citizenship Week with activities focused on developing healthy habits around technology use. Each day resources will be shared as blogs on our website and shared out on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. Parents can also choose to sign up to receive text messages from Common Sense Media with Tips for Health Tech Balance (for children ages 3-8).
We hope you will take the time to talk to your child about technology use and connect their learning about media balance and well-being to your home.
Wednesday, October 23rd will be our Digital Citizenship Spirit Day- Hat Day! Students are invited to wear a hat at school to “wear your thinking cap and reflect on your technology use and habits”.
This Tuesday (TOMORROW), as a way to show support for our local Washington Nationals Baseball team, we will be having a WEAR RED spirit day.
Come to school in your Nats Gear- or any kind of appropriate RED attire. Let's help our team win the World Series by showing some team spirit!
