Stadium Expectations

 

Dear Wolverines,

 

This Friday, October 18th, West Potomac will host Annandale at The Jeffery C. Dietze Stadium. It is our Homecoming Game so please plan to arrive early. Here are a few reminders about Friday’s game to ensure all our patrons, students and parents enjoy the true spirit of the event.

 

  • Varsity Football Games will start at 7:00 PM. We will open our ticket gates at 6:00 PM. The ticket gate is the main entrance to the stadium. Admissions is $5 for Students and $6 for Adults. Admission is free for patrons over the age of 65 and under 6.
  • WABC members please bring your WABC Membership Pass to the game. You will have to purchase a ticket if you do not have your pass at the gate.
  • West Potomac High School is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free zone. Adults and students who are determined to be in violation of regulations restricting the possession or being under the influence of drugs, alcohol and/or tobacco will be dealt with accordingly, including being subject to arrest by police.
  • Parking is available in front and behind the Spring Bank building. Parking is also available by the auxiliary turf field behind the Gunston Building. Please do not park in fire lanes or other restricted areas.
  • No re-entry into the game. If you leave the game and wish to return, you will need to purchase another ticket.
  • Patrons will not be allowed to enter the stadium with athletic equipment such as bats, balls, sticks, etc.
  • Patrons will not be allowed to enter the stadium with containers such as water, bottles, cups, cans, etc.
  • Backpacks will not be allowed in the stadium
  • Wolverine fans are asked to demonstrate good citizenship and sportsmanship towards our opponents and officials. Any clothing that includes negative references to opposing teams/schools will not be tolerated. We encourage you to cheer loudly and positively for the Wolverines.
  • Parents, we are asking that you start arriving at 9:00 PM in front of the school to pick your child up when the game is over.
