Hello Centre Ridge Family-

Well it has been a busy two weeks here at the Ridge. We had an amazing Read-a-Thon where our students logged over 128,000 minutes of reading. We also had a wonderful event with the Unified Special Olympics team- quick shout out to Mr. Martinez and Ms. Henry for leading and to all of the staff who came out to support. In addition, we had the Centreville High School Homecoming parade last week, so fun and nice to see all of the former students in the parade. We are now 7 weeks into the school year and the classrooms are busy with highly engaged and enthusiastic students. We thank you for sending your student to us each and every day and for always supporting them.

There are some fun events coming up in the next 2 weeks that I hope you can attend. On October 18 we have Donuts for Dads, October 22 is Chick -Fil-A spirit night as well as a community event at Centreville High School called Supporting Students in a Digital World. This event will be teaching us strategies on how to guide our students in using technology and how we can make sure they use it appropriately and safely. It should be powerful.

We thank you for all of your support and look forward to working together to continue to make Centre Ridge such a magical place.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend
