FCPS Foundation

I am proud to serve as the Board’s Liaison to the FCPS Foundation again this year. The Foundation does incredible work in the business community to establish and grow relationships and secure funding for the Teacher Grant Program. Last year, the Foundation distributed $90,000 in Teacher Grants, which went directly to fund 45 work-based learning projects across the division, an increase from 28 projects last year.

I invite members of the public to join us for our FCPS Foundation Annual Leaders & Learners Luncheon, which helps to fundraise for the grants program, benefitting teacher and students directly in their classrooms.

The keynote address for our event will be delivered by Colonel Michael H. Greenberg, Garrison Commander at USAG Fort Belvoir. This year’s luncheon will also include announcing our 2019 Partner of the Year and the introduction of an Annual Distinguished FCPS Alumni Award.
