Dear Seahawk Families:
Each year families who may qualify for assistance through the Free or Reduced Meals program must apply. If your student was eligible last year and you have not yet reapplied, benefits from last school will expire on 10/2/19. We know we currently have a number of students in this situation.

At the bottom of the webpage there are links to the application in English and Spanish. It is also available in Arabic, Chinese, Tagalog, French and Vietnamese.
The application takes 15-30 minutes. You will need to provide during the application process:
- The names and incomes of every member of your household
- The school, grade, birthdate of every student in your household
- Your social security number and electronic signature
- (Optional) A valid email address or phone number for district communication about the status of the application.
- For income requirements, you must have 1 of the 3:
- If household receives SNAP benefits: SNAP case number and recipient’s name
- If household receives TANF benefits: TANF case number and recipient’s name
(If household receives both SNAP and TANF use SNAP case number)
- If household does not receive SNAP or TANF, proof of income will be acceptable.
Consent to Share Information form
It is very important that families also complete the Consent to Share Information form so that students may also receive free or reduced fees for several programs (e.g. course fees). Without this form, students will not be eligible fore free/reduced fees in a number of programs even if they are eligible for the meals program.

If you have already completed the Free/Reduced Meals application but did not do the Consent to Share Information form, you can still do so.
Need Computer Access or Assistance
Ms. Maria Gospodinoff, parent liaison, will be available to assist families (English or Spanish speaking) with completing applications on the following dates:
Tuesday October 1st 8-10 AM
Thursday October 3rd 1-3pm
Please be sure to bring with you the information needed to complete the application (see list above). Computers will be available for use. Paper applications are available however it takes 3-4 weeks for those to be processed. Online applications are getting approved typically in 2-3 days.

La aplicación de las comidas gratis o a precio reducido para el año escolar 2019-2020 debe ser renovada antes del 2 de octubre 2019. Puede elegir la opción en "Spanish” y hacerlo electrónicamente para un procesamiento más rápido.
Lo que tendrá que proporcionar durante el proceso de solicitud:
