Parent Night on Anxiety Awareness

Every child experiences anxious moments or phases. Learn when children need help to manage their anxiety by coming to the Parent Night on Anxiety Awareness on November 13, 2019 at the West Springfield High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm with a free screening of the documentary ANGST at 7pm. An expert panel discussion follows the screening and information on school and community resources will also be available. The event is sponsored by local school counselors, school administrators, the FCPS Region 4 office and PTAs/PTSAs.

Be On The Look Out For This Form

Fairfax County Public Schools uses a variety of resources to support student learning.

Some of the digital resources your child uses this year may require parental consent according to their terms of service and/or privacy policy.  FCPS takes your child’s privacy and security very seriously, and follows the guidelines set forth by federal legislation.

Please sign the form and return to your child's homeroom teacher by 10/11/19

Advanced Academic Program Information

If you were unable to attend the Advanced Academic Program Information meeting on September 26th, you may view the narrated PowerPoint via this link: Advanced Academic Information Narrated PowerPoint. Sangster will host another Advanced Academic Information meeting about the screening and referral process on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Redford, Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, at jaredford@fcps.edu.
