Parent Volunteers for Vision and Hearing

nurse

Volunteers are needed on October 23,24,25 for 7th Grade Vision and Hearing Screening.  No experience is necessary, and any adult (parent, grandparent, adult sibling) is welcome.  You can volunteer for any or all of the screening periods on each day.  Any amount of time would be appreciated.  Adults do not need to have a student in 7th grade to help.

If you are looking for a one-time opportunity to volunteer, this is it!  It’s a great opportunity for parents to meet your 7th grader’s classmates.

Please sing up using the link below.

Impact Aid

The Impact Aid Program is a federal program designed to directly compensate local school districts that have been financially impacted by federal activities.  The program’s mission is to reimburse local school districts for local revenues lost due to the presence of federally owned, and therefore tax-exempt, property.  This is an annual requirement.  Impact Aid forms will go home with students through Unity Time the 3rd week of October- stay tuned for more details.    They are confidential and contain your information preprinted!  Students should return them signed to their Unity Time teacher as soon as possible.  More guidance on how to complete the forms will be provided.  Please watch for the forms.
