Fall Academic Awards Celebration and Reception
On Wednesday, September 25 during Advisory, we will celebrate all students who earned their Academic Letter, First Bar, or Second Bar for the 2018-19 school year. We will start at 10am. This honor is earned when a student receives a final Grade Point Average of 3.8 or higher for the entire school year. Students who earn this recognition for a second time receive their academic bar to be pinned to their letter and those earning the recognition for a third time receive a second bar for their letter. Students being recognized received an invitation mailed home to their house and can be found here.
We will have a brief ceremony in Springbank Auditorium and we are excited to welcome Assistant Superintendent for Region 3 Dr. Nardos E. King, who will share a few remarks. We will then have a reception where students can pick up their awards and enjoy some refreshments. Parents and Guardians are welcome to attend.
