Irving MS Back to School Night Reminder

Good Evening, Parents/Guardians!

You are invited to our Back to School Night (BTSN) tonight, September 19. Back to School Night is an opportunity for parents/guardians to walk their child’s class schedule, meet their teachers, and learn about each of their classes. To help conserve paper, please take a picture of your child's schedule, write it down, or follow your child's schedule using the ParentVue App so you know where to go throughout the evening.

The schedule for the evening will be as follows:

6:00-6:30 - Optional programming

ESOL presentation in room 227
Special Education presentation in Barker Hall
Family Life Education Curriculum Review in the Library

6:35-7:10 - Welcome video & 1^st period

7:15-7:25 - 2^nd period

7:30-7:40 - 3^rd period

7:45-7:55 - 4^th period

8:00-8:10 - 5^th or 6^th period (Parents/guardians will go to the 5th or 6th period class and NOT to Learning Seminar)

8:15-8:25 - 7^th period

8:30-8:40 - 8^th period

This year, to help parents/guardians who are coming straight to school, we will have a food truck in front of the school until 7:00pm. Please note the Food Truck is not associated with FCPS or Irving Middle School and Irving does not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of food. The food truck is available to help make BTSN more convenient.
