Positivity Project
Shrevewood is proud to be a Positivity Project (P2) school. The Positivity Project empowers America's youth to build positive relationships and become their best selves. This is done through weekly lessons in the classroom on different character strengths. Each week, we will announce the strength for the upcoming week through the News You Choose. Next week, our first character trait will be “curiosity”. #otherpeoplematter

Have you ever wondered about what topics your child will learn about during the 2019-2020 school year? The FCPS K-6 Year at a Glance provides a high-level understanding of what topics across Mathematics, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies will be taught throughout the year. SIS Parent Account
The SIS Parent Account provides online access for parents to information about your child’s attendance, health, school and calendar, class schedule, student performance, and demographic data. If you have not yet activated your SIS Parent Account, you can follow the steps at this link to register:

International Night Auditions
Auditions for the International Night cultural show will be held on September 25th at 8:00am in the gym. In this week’s Thursday folder, a flyer went home with a participation slip. Fill out the participation slip and send it to school if your child is interested in auditioning. Questions can be emailed to: kaolsen@fcps.edu

Parent Preview Night
FLE Parent Preview Night is to include all grade levels, K-6. Parent preview night will be on October 15th in the café from 6-7pm.
