Thanks for a great second week of school! We want to remind you of two great events happening this weekend:
PTA Family Movie Night
Tonight, Sept. 6 at 6:00 the Coates PTA will be sponsoring a free family movie night. Come watch The Secret Life of Pets 2 in the Coates cafeteria. Bring beach blankets or chairs. Bring your own snacks or buy some at school. The PTA officers and Mr. Kraft will lead a brief meeting and then we'll start the movie!
Please note that children may not attend evening events at school without a parent who will directly supervise them. This is not a drop-off event.
Fun Run
Looking for a fun event this Sunday? Check out this charity event by Best Runners (less than 1 mile from school!). If you register and note "BR_Coates" on the line that says "Referred by a BR member", they will donate back to school all registration money with a 100% match! Any money earned will flow toward our efforts to replace older iPads for our special education students.
