Good Afternoon Ravensworth Community, this afternoon as part of your Wednesday folder you will receive a copy of the Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) guide. The SR&R lays out the rules and expectations for students in Fairfax County Public Schools.
Parents, please take some time to read and review the material in the SR&R with your child. When you have done this, please sign and return the signature page inside the front cover. The page specifies a return date of October 25th. We at Ravensworth ask that you return the signature page by September 4th. We believe the sooner families and students read and understand their rights and responsibilities the more successful they will be in school. To that end, teachers have been reviewing classroom and schoolwide expectations all week. Additionally, Mrs. Aspuria and Mr. Bourjaily will be meeting with each class tomorrow to provide an overview of the SR&R specifically geared to the students' grade.
