FCPSOn-Laptop Distribution

FCPSOn is a district-wide initiative that will issue student laptops for use both at school and at home starting in the 2019-2020 school year.  

Laptop distribution will be held in the Westfield High School Basement.  Students need to allow about 30 minutes at school preparing their laptop.  Please allow extra time for pick up which will depend on the number of students on each distribution date. Students must be present to pick up their own laptop. Our goal is to get all computers distributed to students prior to the first day of school. 

Instructions for Computer Pickup

  • Bring completed FCPS required forms (Emergency Care Form, Health Information Form) with you to pick up your computer.  These forms must be completed each year and returned to the school.
  • Park in the side parking lot and enter the building through Door 11, by the gym and follow the signs to the Basement level of the R Wing.
  • To speed up distribution please bring a photo ID (driver’s license, permit, school ID)

We will begin distributing computers to students participating in school activities to ensure our practices are effective and efficient. Coaches and program supervisors will work with our school technology staff to coordinate distribution during these scheduled times:

Thursday, Aug 8 

    • Girls X-Country 10:00 a.m.
    • Football (Group A) 2:30 p.m.
    • Dance Team 3:00 p.m.

Friday, Aug 9 

    • Field Hockey and Golf 9:00 a.m.
    • Freshman Football 1:30 p.m.
    • Freshman Volleyball and Cheer 3:30 p.m.

Monday Aug 12 

    • Boys X-Country 10:00 a.m.
    • V Volleyball 11:00 a.m.
    • Freshman Bootcamp 12:00 p.m.
    • JV Volleyball 2:45 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug 13 

    • Freshman Bootcamp 12:00 p.m.
    • Football (Group B) 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug 14

    • Freshman Bootcamp 12:00 p.m.

 

All students not participating in school activities can pick up their computer during the following scheduled times:

Thursday, Aug 15 

    • Sub School 1 (students last name A-Dam) 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.

Monday, Aug 19 

    • Sub School 2 (students last name Dan-Jac) 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug 20 

    • Sub School 3 (students last name Jad-Mol) 2:00 p.m.– 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug 21 

    • Sub School 4 (students last name Mom-Sam) 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, Aug 22

    • Sub School 5 (students last name San-Z) 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.
