Dear Stallion Family,
I hope you and your family are having an enjoyable summer! Although the new school year is more than one month away, we are actively preparing for the implementation of FCPSOn. As a reminder, FCPSOn is a digital transformation initiative that provides our students with access to an FCPS-issued laptop to use for learning.
An essential part of FCPSOn’s implementation process is the distribution of laptops to each high school student. Laptop distribution will take place in the cafeteria at South County High School on various dates in August and the first week of school. We highly encourage students to pick up laptops before the start of school. Our goal is for all students to have their laptops within the first week of school. Please note that although laptops will be distributed in August through the first week of school, parents will be invoiced for the annual technology support fee of $50 in November.
