Woodburn's New Assistant Principal
Fairfax County Public Schools sent this bulletin at 07/14/2019 10:19 AM EDT
Dear Woodburn Families,
I am very excited to introduce our new assistant principal, Bridget Louder. Bridget is excited to join Woodburn and will make a wonderful addition to our community. Most recently, Bridget served as the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Coordinator at Belvedere Elementary where she assisted grade-level teams in creating integrated units of study that extended to the arts. Prior to that, Bridget was a first grade teacher at Belvedere and Westlawn Elementary. She holds masters’ degrees in Education Leadership and Curriculum & Instruction, both from George Mason University. Bridget attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree and is a huge Hokie fan. In her free time, she and her husband, Andy, play with their four year old son (James) and their one-year old daughter (Maeve).
Please join me in welcoming Bridget to Woodburn. I look forward to having her meet many of you at our Welcome Walk and Back to School Bash in August.
Sincerely,
Katy Richman
Principal
