Message from the Principal
Dear Sangster Families,
On behalf of the Sangster staff, I would like to express our gratitude for the many contributions you have made to our children through your gifts of time, service, and talent this year. I am thankful that you understand Sangster is more than a building; it is a place where learning comes to life. I appreciate our dedicated teachers and staff who work tirelessly to ensure your children experience success academically as well as develop respect for themselves and others. In the spirit of our continuing partnership with the Positivity Project #OtherPeopleMatter, thank you for your support of our school throughout the year. I am extremely proud to be the principal of a school where teachers care so deeply for their students and each other. Thank you for your trust and partnership this school year. Have a wonderful summer and see you in August!
Sincerely,
Lisa M. Reddel
Principal, Sangster Elementary

Summer Reading Program
Sangster encourages all Falcons and their families to read, read, read this summer! Please encourage your child to participate in both the Sangster Summer Reading program and the annual Fairfax County Public Library summer reading initiative. Information on the Sangster program, which is connected to the Positivity Project, will come home next week with report cards. Info on the Public Library incentive program can be found here or at your local library. Participation is not required but is encouraged! (And readers can “count” their books for both programs.)
Registering for 2019-2020 School Year
Do you have a new neighbor with school-aged children? Make sure to tell them to register for the 2019-20 school year. In order for us to have all the staff we need for next year, early registration is key. Thanks for your help.
School Cafeteria Account
Please remember to make sure that your child’s school nutrition account is current.
