MySchoolBucks

Please remember to add money to your child’s school nutrition account.  All accounts must be brought current before the end of the school year in June. Visit MySchoolBucks.

Learn more about this online payment portal for many school fees.  Parents can set up an account which they link their student(s) to so there is one account per family.  Course fees, lunch funds, obligations, some ticket events can be taken care of online. MySchoolBucks eliminates the need for students to carry cash to school and for multiple checks to be written.

Requesting a refund for my student's meal account

Meal account refunds can be requested by e-mailing the following information to mealaccountrefund@fcps.edu

  1. Student Name
  2. Student ID # (listed on the student's schedule)
  3. School Name
  4. Parent Name
  5. Street Address
  6. City, State and Zip code
  7. Phone #

On June 30 of each year, balances for all graduating seniors will no longer report in MySchoolBucks.  Food and Nutrition Services will have access to balance files and if parents have not requested a transfer or refund by this date, they may still do so up to one year (to June 30 of the following  year) using the above methods.

Parents are required to log into www.MySchoolBucks.com and from the homepage dashboard and click “Remove Student." Click the box under “Remove?” for the graduating student’s name.

Medications

All medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than 11 am on June 13. Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded. It is school policy that prescription medication must be picked up by the parent or guardian; it cannot be sent home with your student. However, with parent or guardian permission, a student may transport over-the-counter medication to and from the school health room. If you have any questions, please contact your school health room aide, Mariama Kalokoh, at mkalokoh@fcps.edu.

Yearbooks are still available to pick up. See Ms. Mulligan in room 1215 or 1207. We still have extra copies for sale, $90 cash or check payable to Langley HS.

We are 75 percent of the way to our courtyard renovation fundraising goal. Help us cross the finish line!

As of now, the Langley Legacy Tree will have about 375 leaves, birds and acorns on its branches when it takes shape in the Langley Lobby over the summer! The leaves will bear the names of former, current and future Langley students as well as teachers and families. We also have 11 Courtyard Benefactors -- donors of $1,000 or more -- whose family, organization, or company names will appear on a plaque adjacent to the Legacy Tree. Thank you to those who have contributed!

p

We need additional donations, however, to complete this wonderful project for our students. Before the school year is over, please contribute to the Langley Legacy Tree. Choose your engraved message — leaves make wonderful tributes to students, graduates, teachers, family and friends! Giving levels are copper leaf ($50), silver leaf ($100), gold leaf ($200) and bird or acorn ($500).

To order your leaf -- or leaves! -- visit the PTSA website, ptsalangley.org.
