Cardinal's Message

Cardinal's Message

Dear Families and Friends,

Wow, we are winding into the last two weeks of school, and learning continues in every corner!  Just today, we visited first grade, where students used persuasive writing strategies to convince us we should start recycling dried markers to help protect the environment.  On the second floor, our hallway is beginning to transform as sixth graders prep their original math games for their annual Probability Fair next week.  And all students in PE have been learning games in a unit that will culminate with Field Day next Thursday!  Ms. Sinclair, our guest PE teacher for the rest of the year, joined us this week, and has loved being a part of our community!

With summer quickly approaching, it is a great time to think about getting some new books for your children. Starting Monday, our book fair will be open in the library. There are a variety of picture books, chapter books, and books in Spanish as well.

The sun is shining and warm weather is upon us! We hope you enjoy this beautiful weekend, and will see you on the other side.

Sincerely,

Katie Le, Principal and Jon Kemmerer, Assistant Principal
