Dear Cunningham Park Families and Friends,
This week, we extend our congratulations to the amazing CPES PTA for being recognized for their incredibly hard work in establishing the strong partnership that exists between Cunningham Park and our families! On Wednesday, the Fairfax County Council PTA awarded our school PTA with the Family Engagement Award, which was also included in the Congressional Record by Congressman Connolly.
According to PTA President, Tracy McCarty, “This was a TEAM effort and we appreciate every family that took time to participate in and volunteer with the PTA and our events!”
We agree whole-heartedly, and are thrilled to see our PTA celebrated by others! Congratulations!!
With Memorial Day coming up, we take time to remember those who selflessly sacrificed for our country. We wish you the best with family and friends this long weekend, and look forward to seeing students again on Tuesday!
