Dear CHS Family,
As the Chairpersons for the 32nd annual All Night Grad Party (ANGP) at Chantilly High School, all we can say is “Wow!” We are truly humbled and appreciative of the response we received for food and volunteer sign ups last week. The Class of 2019 is lucky to be part of such a caring and generous community.
That said, we are still in need of 30 volunteers – particularly for checking in graduates and chaperoning the party to ensure that all doors are monitored around the school throughout the evening and to alert our SROs if any incidents occur. We know that staying up all night seems difficult, but as many veterans of the party will tell you, once you’re there it’s not that hard, and you’ll be glad you did it. In many cases, as the night winds down, we are able to send some volunteers home early. But we can’t do that unless we have a full team of volunteers. The All Night Grad Party is sponsored by the Chantilly High School PTSA, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. If your company has a charitable volunteer program like Fannie Mae, Fairfax County Government, Capital One, to name a few, you may be eligible to volunteer for this event and take some time off the next day without penalty. Check your company website for more details or talk to your supervisor.
