Community Incident

Dear Parents,

One of our students reported to police this weekend that while walking in the Crosspointe neighborhood, an unknown adult male pulled his car alongside of her and attempted to persuade her to enter the vehicle.   The driver then exited the vehicle and continued to speak to the student before the student ran away, unharmed.  The driver is described as African American, about 6’2”, very thin build, in his early thirties, driving an older model red car.  If you have additional information regarding this incident, please contact Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.

Even though this incident occurred over the weekend, we felt it was important to share this information with you.  Please talk with your son or daughter and urge him or her to always be aware of their surroundings and to avoid any seemingly dangerous situations. Students should travel in pairs whenever possible and immediately report any suspicious cars or people  they encounter.  Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns about this or other school-related matters, please do not hesitate to call my front office at 703-446-1600.

Sincerely,

Gary Morris, Principal
