Tornado evacuation this afternoon at Chantilly HS

Fairfax County Public Schools sent this bulletin at 04/26/2019 03:23 PM EDT

Dear CHS Parents and Guardians:

Please be aware that all students and staff moved to shelter areas for approximately 15 minutes as a result of a tornado warning being issued for Fairfax County at approximately 2:40PM. Once the warning was lifted at 2:53PM, students were dismissed from school after being reminded to be cautious on the way home. All safety procedures were followed and everything went smoothly.
