AP Testing Reminders

With Advanced Placement Testing quickly approaching, we wanted to provide a few reminders:

  • AP Exams begin Monday May 6th.  Students should try to arrive by 7:45 AM, for morning exams, and 11:45 AM, for afternoon exams.
  • If a student has not completed their pre-registration yet, they must contact Ms. Meeks (ammeeks@fcps.edu) to schedule a time to complete it.  All students must complete their pre-registration before their exam.  Students who did not opt-out of their AP Exams are obligated to sit for their AP exams. Students who do not sit for their exam will be assessed $15.00, for each unused exam.   
  • AP Students who wish to leave immediately after an AP Exam, or come in late before an afternoon AP Exam must complete a pre-arranged absence form. Forms are available from Student Services, the Attendance Office, online on the WPHS Home Page under announcements, or by using this link. The purpose of the form is to mark the student Pre-Arranged absent in SIS, prior to the exam date, thus precluding untimely phone calls home.  Tomorrow is the last day to turn in this form to your student’s Alpha Administrator.
