Robotics Team Headed to World Championship

Fusion Four, the all-girls robotics team is heading to the First Lego League World Championships later this month in Detroit! Out of over 70 teams, they came in 1st place and their team is now representing Virginia and DC in the World competition. Three of the team members go to LBSS, and the fourth, Devon R., is a 7th grader at Robinson.  Way to go team and good luck!

Women in Defense (WID), a National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) affiliate, made a generous donation to help offset team travel costs to Detroit.  See photo of check presentation, below, held on April 11 at LBSS.
