Along with many other WFES students, these first graders wore purple on April 10 to show support for children in military families.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope everyone enjoyed Spring Break. I know that I had a great time relaxing with my family.
In these last eight weeks of school there will be many exciting opportunities to celebrate our students and staff. This week we will be recognizing our amazing operational support staff (custodians, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, office staff, and health room), and next week we will be appreciating our instructional staff (teachers, assistants and specialists). Each person in our building contributes to the wonderful atmosphere and amazing learning our students experience each day. I hope you will join me in thanking all of these hard-working individuals for all they do each day.

Positivity Project: Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence Appreciation of beauty and excellence is the ability to identify and enjoy that which is admirable in the world. Appreciation of beauty can generate awe; appreciation of a skill can generate admiration; and appreciation of moral goodness can generate moral elevation. Appreciating excellence and beauty helps an individual experience positive emotions and connect to the world around him/her.
