Spring Break, April 15 - 19

School office closed

Dear Stenwood Families:

Thanks for coming out to our Curriculum Night this past week!  It was great to see everyone enjoying the evening.  And a big cheer to our kindergarten students for their fabulous production of The Sound of Music!  The talent of our students and the teachers who work so diligently to foster this talent never cease to amaze me!

I hope you have fun plans for spring break and plan to relax and enjoy the time together.  If traveling, be sure to travel safely; we look forward to the rest of the school year.

Friendly reminder, please remember to add money to your child’s school nutrition account.  All accounts must be brought current before the end of the school year in June.

Sincerely,
Principal Dammeyer
Assistant Principal Riley

Calling all Rising 6th graders:

Virginia Law requires that all students entering sixth grade receive a booster dose of the Tdap vaccine prior to the beginning of school. The Tdap vaccine protects against tetanus (lockjaw), diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) and is usually given around the age of 11, although it can be given as early as seven years of age.

Please send in documentation of the Tdap to the front office staff as soon as possible.

Sixth grade students will not be allowed to begin school in August 2019 without submitting proper documentation
