Futsal Exhibition
This Wednesday, April 10th, we will be hosting a futsal (indoor soccer) event with Lanier Middle School! The games will be played at Poe in the evening at 6:30, 7:15, and 8:00. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students, and free for children 5 & under. Our PTSA will also be selling concessions (pizza, hotdogs, soda, etc.). Please come out to support our teams!
Exhibición de Fútbol de Sala
¡Este miércoles, el 10 de abril, jugaremos partidos de fútbol de sala (futsal) con Lanier MS! Los partidos se jugarán en Poe a las 6:30, 7:15 y 8:00 de la noche. La entrada cuesta $5 para adultos, $2 para estudiantes y es gratis para niños menores de 5 años. Nuestra PTSA también venderá pizza, hotdogs y refrescos. ¡Por favor venga a apoyar a nuestros equipos!

Spring Dance
The After-School Program and National Junior Honor Society will be hosting a Spring Dance this Thursday, April 11th! The dance will take place during the 2nd block of the After-School Program and late buses will be provided as usual at 4:45pm. Tickets will be sold before school and in lunches on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Tickets cost $5, which includes pizza and soda. Other ASP activities that are normally held from 3:15-4:45pm will be cancelled on Thursday, except for GMU EIP. Students who are not attending the dance must go home at 2:15pm or be picked up in the office at 3:15pm.
Baile de Primavera
¡El After-School Program y la National Junior Honor Society patrocinarán un Baile de Primavera este jueves, el 11 de abril! El baile se llevará a cabo durante el segundo bloque del After-School Program y habrá autobuses escolares a las 4:45pm como siempre. Se venderán boletos antes de la escuela y durante los almuerzos el lunes, martes y miércoles. Los boletos cuestan $5 e incluyen pizza y refresco. Las otras actividades del ASP que normalmente son ofrecidas entre las 3:15-4:45pm serán canceladas este jueves, con la excepción del programa GMU EIP. Los estudiantes que no van a asistir al baile se tienen que ir a casa a la salida de las 2:15pm o ser recogidos de la oficina a las 3:15pm.

Bingo and Spaghetti Night
Our PTSA will be hosting a Bingo and Spaghetti Night this Friday, April 12th, at 6pm! Come out for a fun night of bingo and a delicious dinner! All are invited!

After School Program News
We recently launched our revamped after-school Build A Computer group! The group meets on Monday afternoons during both blocks of the ASP. Students that participate refurbish donated computers, which are then given away to students and families that are in need. If your son or daughter is interested in joining, please have him/her see Ms. Peters or Mr. Rosas.

¡Acabamos de reiniciar nuestro grupo de Build A Computer! El grupo se reúne los lunes por la tarde en ambos bloques del ASP. Los estudiantes que participan restauran computadoras donadas, que luego se entregan a estudiantes y familias que las necesitan. Si su hijo o hija está interesado/a en participar, por favor pídale que hable con la Srta. Peters o el Sr. Rosas.
