Contribute to "Collect for Kids"

In the 2019-2020 school year, FCPS is projected to have over 56,000 students (29% of the total population) who qualify for free lunches. "Collect for Kids" is a network of non-profits, faith-based groups, businesses and civic organizations that work together to collect school supplies and backpacks for these students each year.

Now’s the time to get involved! Organize a backpack drive in your neighborhood or at your place of business. Or donate to the Foundation for FCPS to purchase school supply kits that supplement the collaborative effort. Help us help all students to be successful in school! Find out more on the Collect for Kids website.

FCPS Honors Sponsors

A pillar of the Foundation for FCPS's support is Employee Recognition programs for some of the 27,500 employees at FCPS. Through monthly celebrations in each region, #FCPSCares recognizes employees at every level, culminating in the FCPS Honors on Wednesday, June 12 at 6:00 pm at Mason's Center for the Arts.

Thank you to our sponsors for this year's event!
