Dear Woodburn Families,
It is hard to believe we are wrapping up the third quarter. We have a lot to celebrate and look forward to seeing students in their spirit wear next week.
This week we enjoyed a "flash mob" visit from cellist Amit Peled and students from the Peabody Institute. The students loved seeing cellists play throughout the hallways and then again for a brief assembly. Our partnership with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra (FSO) makes opportunities like this possible for our students.
Next week we are excited for our Drama Club performance on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 pm. As a reminder, there will be no school for students on April 5th. We will be hosting Kindergarten Orientation on Friday from 2:30-4:00 and look forward to meeting our incoming wildcats! We hope you enjoy the long weekend.
Sincerely,
Katy and Ramona
