Recent Student Successes

This is the next installment for the school year of what has become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students.  I meet with recognized students each week to congratulate them in person.

  • Matt Benson has become one of the hardest working students in Personal Fitness. He has become an incredibly helpful, positive influence among his peers. A young man in Matt's class just moved to CHS; Matt's welcoming attitude has made that student's transition to CHS smooth and comfortable. Mr. Sean Curry
  • Lilian Haney is always prepared and does an excellent job participating in PE daily. She goes above and beyond as she is always helping and encouraging other students. Ms. Kristina Plaugher
  • Ethan Lesnik is always ready and prepared to be successful in Personal Fitness. He is very interested in learning about weight training techniques that will enable him to take his training to the "next level". His personality and constant knowledge seeking are a joy to have in Personal Fitness! Mr. Brent Newell
