Service Learning Requirements Reminder

FCPS requires students to complete 15 hours of community service: 7 hours were due the first semester (January 11, 2019) and 8 hours are due the second semester (by May 31, 2019). All 15 hours of service learning must take place outside of instructional hours such as: during Panther Time, after school, and/or outside of school. Hours must be entered into X2Vol by the dates listed above.

8th Grade Neon Nights Celebration

 

NEON NIGHTS will be here before you know it!

Ticket sales kick off soon!

This year's 8th grade celebration will be held on June 12, 2019, from 6:30-9:00PM.  This fun-filled, festive send-off for our 8th graders will include a DJ, karaoke, inflatables, photo booth, and plenty of refreshments!  Be sure to get your ticket early; online ticket sales begin on April 8 at a cost of $20.  Ticket prices will increase to $25 on May 28.  In-person sales will only take place for 3 days in late May, so don't wait!  It's sure to be a night of fun and friends that students won't want to miss!

SCA Baskin Robbins Fundraiser

The SCA will be having a scoop night on Thursday, March 28 from 3:30-7:30PM at the Baskin Robbins in the Franklin Farm Shopping Center. RCMS staff members will be scooping ice cream, constructing sundaes, and spinning milkshakes. Mark your calendars and join us! 15% of the proceeds will go to the SCA.


Other FCPS Schools are Sharing....

From South Lakes HS: Rising 9th grade students are invited to South Lakes High School March 21 at 3:15PM to meet with IB students and learn about the IB Program.  Meet us in the cafeteria for small group discussions with the people who really know the ins and outs of the IB program at South Lakes High School – our fabulous students. We look forward to meeting our future Seahawks!

From Westfield HS: Rising freshman interested in playing freshman football at Westfield High School next year should contact Coach Shepherd via email at jkshepherd@fcps.edu.  We will begin our spring conditioning program for football on Monday, March 25 at 6:00 pm in the Westfield weight room.  Check the website for important dates and information about the football program:  www.westfieldathletics.org Go Bulldogs!
