Wellness Week at Kings Glen - March 18-22
Please join us in the following spirit days:
Monday, 3/18: Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff (how do you manage stress?). Wear sweats to school.
Tuesday, 3/19: Make Healthy Food Choices. Wear colors of the rainbow to represent the fruits, vegetable, grains and proteins & make up a healthy plate.
Wednesday, 3/20: Water Wednesday (choose water instead of soda or juices). Wear beach-themed clothes (no swimsuits).
Thursday, 3/21: Get Your ZZZZ’s (kids need 9-11 hours of sleep each night). Wear slippers to school.
Friday, 3/22: Fitness Friday (exercise/play at least an hour each day). Wear your favorite sports jersey or workout gear.
Advance Ticket Purchases for Aladdin, Jr.
Kings Jesters presents Aladdin, Jr. on April 9-11 beginning 7 p.m. at Kings Glen. Flyers went home in the March 12 Tuesday Take-Home with details on how to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance by ordering through MySchoolBucks or by returning the order form with payment to Kings Glen.

Purchase Your Child's Spring Pictures!
Spring Picture packets went home in the March 12 Tuesday Take-Home with details on how to purchase pictures. Pictures may be purchased online (Portrait ID M312-4568, Access Code XY40) or by returning the purchase envelope to the school. Payment and any unwanted pictures should be returned to the school by March 19.
Your Feedback Matters!
As an important part of the summative evaluation process in FCPS, all Kings Glen Parents will be contacted through email or text message with a link to the FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback Form Online. This survey is part of the Performance Evaluation Program and offers parents an opportunity to provide anonymous input about various issues related to our school. These issues include instructional leadership, school climate, human resources management, organizational management, communication and community relations and professionalism.
The survey will be collected online between March 13 and March 27. When you receive an email or text message from FCPS Surveys, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Thank You!!

Yearbooks can be ordered online using yearbook ID code 13277219. Order forms went home in the February 26 Take-Home Tuesday, and can also be purchased payable by check to Kings Glen ES.

Back by popular demand, the Lake Braddock pyramid presents Rachel Bailey, Parenting Specialist
As a parent, you want your children to feel good about themselves and make healthy choices. Lake Braddock Secondary School has the honor of hosting parenting specialist, Rachel Bailey, for the second time this year about raising healthy and resilient children. You are invited to her workshop titled “How to Get Your Child to Open Up to You” on March 13th from 6:30-8 PM in Lake Braddock's Little Theatre. It is a free event for parents of students in grades K-12. (More Information)
