Read Across America week is coming up next week! Dr. Seuss’ birthday, March 2, is on a Saturday and we will celebrate the week leading up to it, February 25-March 1. We will be celebrating with spirit days all week. Students will be listening to the book of the day read by different staff members throughout the week. We will conclude our week with a school wide reading train where students and staff will line the hallways and read for 15 minutes. Looking forward to a Seussical week!
Monday 2/25: Gear Up for Read Across America Week: Dress as a book character
Tuesday 2/26: Dr. Seuss’ Sleep Book: Wear your pajamas
Wednesday 2/27: The Lorax: Wear a mustache or orange
Thursday 2/28: Fox in Socks: Wear crazy or mismatched socks and shoes
Friday 3/1: The Cat in the Hat: Wear red, white, and black or Dr. Seuss themed clothes
