Parents and Staff,
The safety of our students is our #1 priority! It is imperative that during arrival and dismissal we are all vigilant and following some simple guidelines.
- All students that are being dropped off/picked up from school or SACC must be walked through the parking lot and to the main building or SACC Den with an adult. Please remember to use one of the two crosswalks that are located in our parking lot.
- During arrival and dismissal, Kiss and Ride drivers should be forming two lanes (not one) as they approach the drop off/pick up zone. One line causes a back up on Fort Hunt Road and gridlock.
- During arrival, Kiss and Ride drivers should never allow their children to exit their car until a BVES staff member opens the car door.
- Leave BVES with a smile on your face and a skip in your step knowing you did your part in keeping all of our students safe.
