Please note that Monday, February 4, is a teacher workday, and there will be no school for students. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 5.
Volunteer at the Spring Book Fair!
We need volunteers to help make the spring book fair a success. The book fair will be held Friday, February 8-Friday February 15. More details can be found in today's Wednesday Folder or on the BES website. Please sign up using this Sign Up Genius link if you can help out!
Family Science Night is Coming to Belvedere!
Join us for Family Science Night on Tuesday, March 26, brought to you by the Children’s Science Center. Activities include: Castle Geometry: Math in 3D!, Are you My Baby?: Animal Adaptations, How Slow Can You Go?: Defying Gravity, Fingerprint Analysis: Forensic Science and Shrink Me!: Taking Metric Measurements among others. Students will participate in these hands-on experiments, specially designed to provoke interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Volunteers are needed from 5-9 p.m. to set up, assist students with activities, and clean up. Contact Jen Buchanan at jkbuchanan@fcps.edu to volunteer. We hope to see you there!
