2019-2020 Course Registration

 Last Tuesday, school counselors began meeting one-one-one with each student to review course option and complete the course selection form.  On Thursday, all 8^th grade students met their high school counselors to receive an overview of graduation requirements and received copies of their course catalog.  Over the next several weeks your student will bring home a copy of their selections for you to sign and return within a few days.  Here is a link to the course descriptions at Poe  https://poems.fcps.edu/announcements/2019-2020-course-information

PTSA (Parent, Teacher, and Student Association)

Our next PTSA meeting will be on Monday, January 28th at 6:00pm.  We hope you will join us!  Childcare will be provided.

As a reminder, The Raven's Nest will be open before the meeting from 5:30-6:00pm.  The Nest is stocked with clothes, jackets, school supplies, backpacks, and several other items for students and their families.  It is located in the back of the school and occupies two of the modular classrooms.  Parents and students can access the Nest through the gate in back of the school near the blacktop.

There will also be an Annandale Pyramid PTSA meeting at Annandale HS on Wednesday, February 6th at 7:00pm.  Come learn more about what is taking place throughout our pyramid!

PTSA (Asociación de Padres, Maestros y Estudiantes)

La próxima reunión de la PTSA será el lunes 28 de enero a las 6:00pm.  ¡Esperamos su participación!  Se proveerá cuidado de niños.

El Nido estará abierto de 5:30pm a 6:00pm antes de la reunión.  El Nido está equipado con ropa, chaquetas, útiles escolares, mochilas y varios otros artículos para los estudiantes y sus familias.  Está ubicado en la parte posterior de la escuela y ocupa dos de las aulas modulares.  Los padres y estudiantes pueden acceder al Nido a través del portón en la parte trasera de la escuela cerca del asfalto.

También habrá una reunión de las PTSAs del Pirámide de Annandale el miércoles 6 de febrero en Annandale HS a las 7:00pm.  ¡Venga para aprender más acerca de lo que está ocurriendo en nuestro pirámide!
