Evening of Code at Dogwood

code

Dear Dogwood Families,

Please join us for an Evening of Code on Wednesday, January 30th from 6 to 7:30!

These days, we can find computer code in anything!  From animated movies to video games to fashion design, to solving some of the world’s biggest problems, no matter what you’d like to do in life, learning a little code can help you supercharge your projects and hobbies!

On this night, we welcome families to try coding together in a fun and relaxed environment.  We’ll have coding activities for any level of experience, including zero!  We hope to see you there!

Indoor Recess Gets a Lift

With snow on the ground and blustery cold winds, Dogwood Dragons are spending fewer recesses outdoors and more of them indoors.  In order to keep the time fun, each teacher was able to choose a new strategy game to have in their classroom for students.  We are problem solving, thinkers throughout our day.  Ask your child which new game they are getting to play!
