Thanksgiving Holiday
Schools and Offices are closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (November 21-23) in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday.
We hope all of our families enjoy this special time together!
Dear Belvedere Families:
It’s incredible to think we are in the second quarter of school, and we already experienced our first snow day. We hope this gave you an unexpected pause and special time with your child at home.
During the first week of November, teachers were busy completing parent-teacher conferences. This year students in grades 1-5 and some students in kindergarten experienced student involved conferences. Teachers were able to share highlights about what students have been learning, but more importantly, you had a chance to hear from your child and see the learning s/he has been engaged in. We hope you found this way of learning about your child valuable and that you felt it gave you greater insight into the learning that goes on in the classroom. If you still feel that you have questions for the teacher, please feel free to reach out to him or her.
Thank you to all who were able to join us for our Thanksgiving luncheon on Veterans’ Day. We had record number of parents and family members attend. Students and staff were happy to see you. Some of you were also able to stay and visit the classroom, getting a glimpse into the learning environment at school.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, we wish you a wonderful time with friends and family. Please note that due to the holiday, there will be no Wednesday Folder items sent from the office this week. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
Book Fair Volunteers Needed
The fall Book Fair is coming up, and the library needs volunteers to make this event run smoothly! The dates are November 29-December 10. Please sign up using this Sign Up Genius link if you can donate a little bit of your time!

Picture Retake Day Rescheduled
Picture Retake Day, which was postponed due to the 2-hour delay on November 16, has been rescheduled for Friday, November 30. Details and order forms can be found in the November 7 Wednesday folder.
Missing Impact Aid Forms
Impact Aid forms were sent home yesterday with students who have not yet returned this form to the office. Please make every effort to complete and return these forms as soon as possible.
