Wednesday Folder Information
Please find electronic copies of your child's Wednesday folder items on the PTA website. Thanks for going green and accessing these items online each week! If you would like to change your preferences for paper or electronic copies, please contact the office.
Winter Weather
As winter approaches, it is important to review the FCPS weather cancellation procedures. FCPS provides information about closings and delays in many ways including:
- Posted to the FCPS Twitter and Facebook pages.
- Posted to www.fcps.edu.
- Email and text messages sent to parents (using the parent contact information listed in weCare@school).
- Email sent to employees (using the employee's FCPS email address).
- Email sent to News You Choose subscribers of Delayed Openings and School Closings.
- Posted on FCPS cable Channel 21 (Cox Communications, Reston Comcast, and Verizon cable customers only).
- Area radio and television stations.
In the event of a 2-hour delay at Belvedere, students enter the building starting at 10:55 a.m., and the school day officially starts at 11:20 a.m. Find more details about weather cancellation procedures on the FCPS website.
Thanksgiving Holiday Reminder
School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (November 21-23) next week in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope you enjoy this break from school!
